A Mingled Yarn Updates!

Nick Hutchinson’s A Mingled Yarn started its cross country book tour on Valentine’s Day  in Vernon BC with a Book Launch/Lunch in the beautiful Headbones Gallery belonging to artist Julie Oakes where an assembly of 50 Okanagan creators enjoyed Nick’s introduction to his memoir, listened to some amusing readings and had their copies of A Mingled Yarn signed by the author.

Coming up on International Women’s Day, March 8th, the tour moves to the Shushwap with a Book Party and “Old Caravan Cabaret featuring Nick and the Reminiscences” at the Sunnybrae Hall in Tappen. It was there that Nick started his long association with the Caravan Stage Co and the Caravan Farm Theatre. He will be joined by some of the Caravan’s renowned musicians and many of their past and present supporters.

Future events are planned for Vancouver and Victoria before Nick heads off to England for more promotional events.
